The BFI TV 100 is a list of 100 television programmes or series that was compiled in 2000 by the British Film Institute (BFI), as chosen by a poll of industry professionals, with the aim to determine the best British television programmes of any genre that had been screened up to that time.

De BFI TV 100 was een lijst met de beste Britse televisieprogramma's volgens het , samengesteld in 2000. De lijst was bedoeld om de beste programma's op de Britse televisie, in welk genre dan ook, aan te duiden. Er werd een lijst samengesteld van 650 programma's die verdeeld werd onder een aantal televisieprofessionals die elk 30 programma's mochten aanduiden. De lijst werd in zes categorieën verdeeld en elke stemmer moest in elke categorie minstens drie programma's aanduiden. Vrij recente gebeurtenissen werden uit de lijst gelaten alsook sportevenementen zoals het WK 1966, dat voornamelijk in Engeland belangrijk is, maar niet in de rest van het land.
