Rabbi Miller was an American-born, European trained rabbi immersed in the most demaning Lithuanian academic and mussar traditions. He not only spoke a perfect English, but also had a unique oratory presence that captivated audiences. And, as the first prominent rabbi to use the medium of tape recorders to spread Torah in an unprecendented fashion to the public at large, he reached an amazingly broad spectrum of audiences. The lives of legions of people who never met him were changed forever simply by listening to his recorded lectures or reading his books.
