Le 9e régiment de chasseurs parachutistes ou 9e RCP est une unité parachutiste de l'armée de terre française. Il descend du 9e régiment d'infanterie, un des plus vieux corps de France, qui prit part notamment aux campagnes napoléoniennes. Devenu régiment parachutiste en 1956, il participe à la guerre d'Algérie et, après 1962, aux opérations extérieures au sein de la FMSB au Liban, et au sein de la FINUL toujours au Liban sous le commandement du détachement de soutien logistique. Le 9e RCP est dissous le 26 juin 1999.

During the Algerian War, the 9th Parachute Chasseur Regiment relieved the 1st Parachute Chasseur Regiment (1er RCP) and became part of the 25th Parachute Division.
