The Boys in Red accident was a January 12, 2008 collision just outside the city of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada, between a semi-trailer truck and a van carrying the basketball team from Bathurst High School. The accident killed seven students and the wife of the coach, and injured four other occupants in the van. Pressure from the public and victims' families prompted the chief coroner of the province to launch an inquiry, which produced recommendations to improve student transport safety in New Brunswick. The provincial government agreed with the majority of the suggestions and has since enacted many of them.

Les E350 comme celui impliqué dans l'accident sont désormais interdits dans le transport d'étudiants dans la province. Deux enquêtes, l'une menée par la Gendarmerie royale du Canada et l'autre menée par Transport Canada, ont déterminé que l'accident a été causé par une combinaison de mauvaises conditions routières, du manque de pneus d'hiver et possiblement une erreur du conducteur. Sous la pression de la population et des familles des victimes, le coroner en chef du Nouveau-Brunswick a lancé une étude, qui a émis des recommandations pour améliorer la sécurité du transport étudiant. Le gouvernement a approuvé la plupart des recommandations.
