The 1934 Michigan Wolverines football team was an American football team that represented the University of Michigan in the 1934 Big Ten Conference football season. In their sixth season under head coach Harry Kipke, the Wolverines compiled a 1–7 record (0–6 against Big Ten opponents) and finished last in the Big Ten. Prior to the 1934 season, the Wolverines had compiled a 22-game undefeated streak dating back to October 1931. Right tackle Thomas Austin was the team captain, and center Gerald Ford was selected as the most valuable player. Ford later became the 38th President of the United States. End Willis Ward was the team's leading scorer and received second-team honors from the College Sports Writers on the 1934 College Football All-America Team.
