The games against Tech and Auburn were not close; losses of 44–0 and 56–6 respectively. The season also featured a tie with Virginia, a regional Southern powerhouse, which lost only to national champion Harvard and South Atlantic Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SAIAA) champion VMI.
