The 150th is part of the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, which is in turn part of the 29th Infantry Division; both formations include Army National Guard forces from multiple states. In addition to its past American Revolutionary War and American Civil War service, the 150th Cavalry has also deployed in support of World War I, the Border War with Mexico, World War II, Operation Spartan Shield, the Iraq War and the intervention in Syria.
